Marketing and Communications Intern

32 hours a week (in-person and remote)

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Communications Intern to join us.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and managing our online presence.

Marketing Intern

Responsibilities

Your core duties as a Marketing Intern will include:

Collateral Creation

  • Assist in designing and producing marketing materials such as brochures, PowerPoint presentations, 1-pagers, and infographics
  • Ensure all collateral align with the Company guidelines and effectively communicate key messages

LinkedIn Posts

  • Assist in developing and scheduling LinkedIn posts to communicate important updates, achievements, and insights
  • Help identify key messages and target audience for each post
  • Support stakeholder mapping by understanding audience demographics and interests

Website Content

  • Help create and update website frames and content for the website
  • Collaborate with the SEO provider to optimize website visibility and search rankings

Blog Writing

  • Conduct interviews with project stakeholders and write compelling blog posts
  • Develop insightful questions to highlight project impacts and achievements

Videography

  • Develop ideas for video content to showcase projects and initiatives
  • Help film and edit videos that highlight the Foundation’s impact

Qualifications

We are looking for the following:

  • A completed or in-progress Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Basic proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and Canva)
  • Familiarity with SEO and website management is a plus
  • Experience with video filming and editing software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • An interest in our mission and a desire to make an impact
